glab snippet create

Create a new snippet.

Synopsis

Provide one or more file paths to upload, or pass --filename and pipe content from standard input.

Snippets are created in the current project by default. Use --personal to create the snippet in your personal account instead, and --visibility to control who can see it.

glab snippet create [flags] -t <title> <file1> [<file2>...]
glab snippet create [flags] -t <title> -f <filename>  # reads from stdin

Options

  -d, --description string   Description of the snippet. Set to "-" to open an editor.
  -f, --filename string      Filename of the snippet in GitLab.
  -p, --personal             Create a personal snippet.
  -t, --title string         (required) Title of the snippet.
  -v, --visibility string    Limit by visibility: 'public', 'internal', or 'private'. (default "private")

Options inherited from parent commands

  -h, --help          Show help for this command.
  -R, --repo string   Select another repository. You can use either OWNER/REPO or GROUP/NAMESPACE/REPO. The full URL or Git URL is also accepted.
